Press Release announcing our involvement for the Summer of 2013...

Chugiak-Eagle River Chinooks announce Jason Patterson as New Media Relations Director

The Chinooks are pleased to announce that every pitch of this summer's action in the Alaska Baseball League will be available Live for the enjoyment of its fans. The broadcasts are easily accessible directly from the team's homepage. The club welcomes Jason Patterson as its new play-by-play voice.

Jason is an experienced broadcaster and media relations director from South Carolina. He currently serves as the voice of University of South Carolina Upstate Spartans Athletics. He also works as a free lance broadcaster, handling play-by-play duties for regional sports telecasts of the local ABC affiliate and appears regularly on national broadcasts which can be viewed worldwide via ESPN3.

In 2010, Jason launched Patterson Communications. The company is responsible for broadcasting numerous special events annually ranging from college all-star games to NCAA conference tournaments.

This will be his second consecutive summer calling collegiate baseball, as he spent last season in the New York Collegiate League.

Before taking the position at USC Upstate, he spent nearly a decade broadcasting baseball, football and basketball for North Greenville University while serving as president of the Carolina based non-profit charitable organization Real Life.

Jason and his wife Leah reside in Spartanburg, SC. Their main enjoyments in life are people and traveling.
